Billecart Salmon
It all begins with the marriage of Nicolas Francois Billecart to Elizebeth Salmon. From this marriage was born the Champagne House Billecart- Salmon founded in 1818 in Mareuil-sur-Ay. Some 200 years later the seventh generation of the decendents manages the champagne house maintaining the Spirit of the champagne, the passion of the grape cultivated as a philosophy around three principal values, finesse, balance & elegance. Billecart Salmon works some 30 Hectares itself and is supplied grapes from a total area of 140 hectares in 35 individual cru.
