Billecart Salmon Rose
Fruit was hand-picked from Billecart's own vineyards in Mareuil-sur-Ay. Winemaking followed the traditional Champagne production process, with a gentle pressing yielding the highest quality juice, 8% of the Pinot Noir was produced as a red wine (by keeping the skins in contact with the juice for a short period). The red wine was then added to the rest of the blend that was made without skin contact producing the wonderful salmon pink colour.
A sweet, strawberry rose champagne, best served chilled before a meal or pair with fresh strawberries and creme fresh.
Champagne Grape Blend:
40% Chardonnay, 40% Pinot Noir & 20% Pinot Meunier
